These stannic oxides are produced thermally from high purity tin metal. The powders, comprised of spherical primary particle aggregates, are inert and non hazardous. Applications are found in glaze opacifiers, pigments, electronic ceramics, capacitors, special refractories , chemicals, lapidary and lens polishing . Tin IV Oxide C.A.S. No ( 18282-10-5 ). Electropol is a premium grade high performance Cerium Oxide polishing powder suitable for ophthalmic and flat glass applications. Can be used at lower concentrations than conventional cerium oxides and is economically priced on a cost per pound basis.
